January 1989 - Off to fight for my country, 21 Squadron Engineers,Bethlehem
June 1990 - Finish with the army
July 1990 - Start four month Computer Programming Course in Johannesburg
live in Knockando Mens residence
January 1991 - Start working as a waiter at Giovanni's Pizzaghetti, Welkom
back at home living with my parents
April 1991 - Go to Johannesburg to find a job
live with my aunt in Springs - unemployed
September 1991 - Get a job in Johannesburg as a Stock Controller
live in the YMCA for 3 months and then my first flat
January 1993 - From OK Bazaars Stock Control to IS Division
living now in what was a very cool part of Johannesburg
- Dundas street near Rockey Street
April 1995 - Join ABSA Bank in Johannesburg as a Programmer
move to Blairgowrie in Johannesburg to be closer to
work
June 1996 - Leave South Africa to go work in Leeds on a 3 month contract
bedsit in some dodgy student area
September 1996 - Off to Northern Ireland for a 6 month Contract in Antrim

April 1997 - One year contract in Edinburgh for Royal Bank of Scotland
Flat 3F1 33 Howe street - Edinburgh
May 1998 - Off to South Africa (with a weekend in Paris) for 6 month holiday
bumming around living with friends and family
September 1998 - Start one year contract in Glasgow !
